Triassic Geological Services began as a union of several small consultancies which had been working together in Coal Exploration and Coal Bed Methane projects for some time. The merging of these companies enabled Triassic to grow rapidly, expanding to fill the requirements of a booming minerals and energy industry.

From humble beginnings, Triassic has flourished into a well-respected, competitive firm employing over 30 industry professionals. We have the ability to design a project from green field level to production phase, with all research, due diligence, and reportage conducted by Triassic’s Competent Persons, as per the AusIMM & JORC code.

Experienced Professionals

Triassic has extensive experience in the Bowen and Surat basins of Qld, as well as current work in the Gippsland Basin of Victoria. Our Senior Consultants have extensively explored these Queensland basins over the last 40 years for coal and petroleum potential and are currently assessing the suitability of deposits for Underground Coal Gasification. Triassic personnel are integral at dozens of sites currently exploring and producing coal, coal bed methane and synthetic fuels.
